QM - System

The EUROATLAS Quality Management System is approved and certified by the authorities as stated below to be in compliance with the Quality Management System Standards:

  1. International Standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, „Quality Management Systems -Requirements". EUROATLAS is certified since 1991.
  2. DIN EN 9100:2010, “Aerospace -Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organizations”. EUROATLAS is certified since 2005.

The Quality Management System is implemented to comply with the agreed Quality Standards, Government and Customer Requirements according to the NATO Standard AQAP 2110, "NATO Quality Assurance Requirements for Design, Development and Production“. The Quality Management System of EUROATLAS is based on the precept that the management and the whole company make continuously all their efforts in order to improve the effectiveness of the system itself. Strengths and Good Practices of the EUROATLAS Quality Management System are the following:

  • Stability of the QMS over the years
  • Workshop organization and cleanliness
  • Well-structured and documented purchasing and  procurement approach (risk management, suppliers evaluation, control of purchased products, inspection
  • Structured and documented design and development approach
  • Process effectiveness monitoring and management

The EUROATLAS organization has been created to reach the quality objectives fixed by the top management and in order to fulfil the customer requirements, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements. Goal of EUROATLAS is to continuously develop and produce products in accordance with high quality and technical requirements. Accordingly Quality Assurance is a company-wide activity and a "make it right the first time" approach is the key to product quality and reliability, cost reduction and productivity and leads to customer satisfaction. Safe, Health and Environmental Protection. EUROATLAS fulfils all statutory requirements concerning Safe, Health and Environmental Protection according to the Wärtsilä policy. 
Wärtsilä JOVYATLAS EUROATLAS GmbH has successful passed a recertification audit by the German Military Aviation Authority (GMAA). The audit was conducted in accordance with § 30 of the German Civil Aviation Act and in conjunction with Bundeswehr Joint Service Regulation A1-1525/0-809.

Wärtsilä JOVYATLAS EUROATLAS site Bremen is approved by the German Military Aviation Authority (Luftfahrtamt der Bundeswehr) as a contractor for work involving Bundeswehr aeronautical equipment.
The company is qualified to develop, manufacture, and repair Bundeswehr aeronautical equipment and establish their airworthiness in accordance with applicable regulations.
